Prices
How are prices calculated?
From the platinum, palladium and rhodium in each reference and the day’s market prices, minus refining and handling costs.
Why can the final price differ?
The price assumes a complete, original unit. Damaged, emptied or replaced units, or a different unit with a similar code, are re-priced at inspection.
How often do prices change?
Whenever the metal markets or our buying conditions change, usually several times a week.
What does “Assayed” mean?
The price of that reference is based on a laboratory analysis of real units.
Searches and plans
What is a priced search?
One search with its filters. All results of that search stay unlocked for 24 hours.
What if a search finds nothing?
It is not counted. Try fewer characters or send photos.
Can I share my account?
No. Accounts are personal and the number of signed-in devices is limited.
How do I cancel a plan?
Under Account → Plan & billing → Manage billing.
Selling
Where can I sell?
At our partner buying point in Johannesburg, South Africa, or by collection where available.
What do I need to bring?
Identification and the units. Business sellers also bring company details.
How am I paid?
By bank transfer or as agreed at the buying point, with a written invoice.
Account and security
How is my account protected?
Hashed passwords, optional two-step sign-in, device control and encrypted traffic. See our Security page.
Do you use trackers?
No. No advertising or analytics trackers, only essential cookies.
How do I delete my account?
Under Account → Profile → Delete account.
